Privacy Policy (Prototype)
How the Omoide Kasane front-end prototype handles photographs, memories, and device data.
Last updated: 2026-08-18
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the current Omoide Kasane front-end prototype. It is provided to validate the product experience, language, and proposed service boundaries. It is not yet a live photograph-restoration, story-generation, video-generation, account, payment, or inquiry service.
2. What the experience demo does
When you choose photographs in the experience demo, the browser creates temporary local previews on your device. The prototype does not upload, store, analyze, or transmit those files. Answers entered in the memory questions and organization consultation demo also remain in the current browser session and are not sent to us.
Closing or reloading the page clears the prototype state. The prototype does not create an account, save a project, connect to a CRM, run an AI model, or process a payment.
3. Technical data
To improve the product experience and understand usage, the site loads a site-specific Plausible script from top.webpv.top and sends aggregate-oriented visit and interaction events to that service's /api/event endpoint. Events may include the viewed URL, referrer, general browser and device information, approximate regional information, and the occurrence of an outbound-link click, file download, or form submission. Plausible does not receive photographs selected in the experience demo, the text of memory answers, or text entered in the organization consultation demo. This integration does not use advertising cookies.
This preview is delivered through Cloudflare Workers, so Cloudflare and the analytics infrastructure may process ordinary connection information—such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL, and timestamp—to deliver, aggregate, and secure the service. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for details. Advertising, customer-chat, and support integrations are not enabled. We will identify the operator, retention period, purpose, and legal basis before any public service begins.
4. Photographs and sensitive memories
Family photographs, biographical details, and memorial materials can be highly personal. The planned service is being designed around the following principles:
- A person providing a photograph should have the right and family understanding to use it.
- Original files should remain separate from restored drafts.
- Uncertain facts should be flagged or omitted, not invented.
- The service should not claim to recreate a deceased person's consciousness, personality, or present-day speech.
- Family members or responsible staff should review names, dates, relationships, tone, and photographs before completion.
These are product principles for the planned service. Detailed retention, deletion, processor, cross-border transfer, and security terms will be published before real data is accepted.
5. Cookies and language preference
The language selector may store a locale preference in a browser cookie so that Japanese or English can be shown consistently. Theme and development tools may also use local browser storage. The current prototype does not use advertising or analytics cookies, including for its Plausible integration.
6. Future changes
Before enabling real uploads, AI processing, accounts, payments, or inquiry delivery, we will replace this prototype policy with an operational policy that identifies the service operator, contact channel, processors, purposes, retention periods, security measures, and applicable user rights.
7. Contact
A real privacy contact channel has not yet been opened for this validation prototype. The organization consultation form on the landing page is a local demonstration and does not send a message. Contact details will be published before the service accepts personal data.
