Terms of Use (Prototype)

1. Purpose of the prototype

Omoide Kasane is currently a front-end validation prototype. It demonstrates a possible experience for organizing family photographs and memories into a restored portrait, a written life story, and a short memorial film. It does not yet provide those production services.

By using this prototype, you acknowledge that all previews, result messages, delivery descriptions, and prices are illustrative and may change.

2. Local demonstration only

The photograph selector, memory questions, film-tone selector, simulated result, and organization consultation form run only in your browser. They do not create an account, upload files, call an AI service, save a project, submit an inquiry, place an order, or start a payment.

3. Appropriate use of photographs and memories

Please choose only photographs and information that you have the right and family understanding to use. Do not use the prototype to harass someone, violate privacy, infringe copyright or portrait rights, impersonate a person, or create deceptive material.

The planned service is not intended to recreate a deceased person's consciousness, personality, or present-day speech. Users and responsible staff would remain responsible for checking facts, names, relationships, dates, and permissions.

4. Simulated results and accuracy

The current prototype does not generate a restored photograph, story, narration, or video. Any sample name, portrait, quotation, chapter, duration, or result message shown on the site is fictional and exists only to explain the intended product.

Future AI-assisted drafts may contain errors or unsuitable phrasing and will require human review. We do not promise that an automated result will be historically complete or free from mistakes.

5. Proposed pricing

The ¥9,800 assisted plan and ¥19,800 human-reviewed plan are pilot concepts for market validation. They are not an offer for sale. Taxes, deliverables, turnaround time, revisions, cancellation terms, refunds, and final prices have not been established. No checkout is connected to this prototype.

6. Availability and changes

We may change, pause, or remove any part of the prototype without notice. We do not guarantee that the future service will launch, retain the current design or functionality, or be available in a particular location or language.

7. Disclaimer

The prototype is provided for evaluation on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for decisions made in reliance on an illustrative preview, for local data lost when the page is refreshed, or for third-party browser or device behavior.

8. Future operational terms

Before accepting real photographs, orders, payments, or inquiries, we will publish operational terms identifying the service operator and covering eligibility, permissions, intellectual property, content review, delivery, fees, cancellation, refunds, support, suspension, liability, and governing law.
